I can't find my camera anywhere! Anyone seen it? Well until I find it, you get a boring post with no pictures. I just finished the book
The Last Waltz. I bitterly hated the ending. I completely disagreed with the author's thoughts on love. I really didn't enjoy the book. I'm trying to figure out what the message was- has anyone else read it that has some insight? On the other hand, I also just reread
A Heart Like His by Virginia H. Pearce. I enjoyed that one.
This morning I left the sprinkler on in the garden for WAY too long and completely flooded it. I had just gotten after Grant for something and while we were talking about it (he's crying and I'm explaining), he asked about the sprinklers. Oops. So then I couldn't be mad at him because he saved the day. Knowing me, I wouldn't have remembered til tonight!
Anyway. Hope you are all having a good day. Following Brooke's example, I better list some things that I'm grateful for to help get me out of this mood.
1. Little boys' imaginations
2. Poppyseed dressing
3. Nap time
4. Prayer
5. Good friends
Hey it works! :)
Edited: I just read a bunch of positive reviews on this book by well-read people. Maybe I was ignorant?
