Two Kids?

Grant was born at this point in my pregnancy! Ahhh! I am just a little stressed about getting everything ready. One project I did finish is the bumper pads for the crib. I love how they turned out. My mom came along fabric shopping so I could make decisions. This cute fabric was an amazing price! I'll be making lots more things for the room out of it. Grant likes to use them as a car track. This is Grant being a "baby." He's done this a ton lately. He tells us to call him baby, feed him like a baby, he crawls around like a baby, etc. I am getting really nervous about how he's going to handle not being the center of attention. Tyson keeps telling me I will be able to handle two, but I'm not so sure! Please reassure me that I'm going to survive!
And also, Grant has been waking up about once a night several nights a week crying because he is scared. Usually it's because he's had a bad dream about a snake or a spider being in his bed. He'll come into our room and I take him back to his bed. He goes back to sleep pretty quickly, but any advice to help him not get so scared at night? I'll be up plenty with a newborn I'm sure, so helping him sleep through the night would be a plus!

Well I think I'm starting to sound whiny, so I better list some things I'm grateful for:
- an extremely supportive husband
- people who share their talents
- a car that takes Tyson to work and home safely
- I can see some grass!

Craft Blogs

It's been a week since I've posted, and I haven't taken a picture since then. What to write about? Well I've been spending lots of time looking at craft blogs, so I thought I'd add a blog list on the side of some of my favorites. Any suggestions? I still haven't really done anything with all these great ideas I've had, but I have a few projects in mind. Some day when I do them, I'll take a picture and share.

Also, I went to the dr. again this week (weekly visits for me already!) and so far so good. I am 30 weeks. 2 more and I'll be past where I was when I had Grant! We are really hoping this girl will stay in there longer this time.

And congrats to all my friends who have had babies in the past week, I think there were 4!

Monkeyin' Around

Grant likes to help in the kitchen, especially if I'm making any kind of bread dough. For some reason I don't understand, he loves to eat dough. He has been wearing my aprons and I decided he needed one of his own that fit and wasn't so girly. (I mostly really needed a project to chase away some winter blues!) He picked out this monkey fabric at Joann's and I went to work. I found this great tutorial HERE (scroll down part way and the link to the pdf is on the right), changed a measurement, added a pocket, and got this. I love it and so does Grant! If anyone wanted to make one, I would totally be willing to help!He can put it on all by himself. I made bread a few days ago and he was so excited to get flour on his apron, because he said that's what aprons are for!

(Yay for my 100th post! I've been blogging for just under 2 years now.)
