Catch-up

So I'm not exactly sure how it is May 19 and I haven't posted for almost a month! But here's a little of what's been going on.

Women's Conference:

Thanks to everyone for your advice on getting Grant taken care of. He actually did great! I was stressed and having a hard time leaving him. But he ended up taking a bottle after a day so I stopped worrying so much. He loved all the attention- thanks Parkers! The conference itself was absolutely fabulous. Sheri Dew, Sister Beck and President Monson were some of the key speakers. President Monson is the most amazing man. He is truly the living prophet! Wow. I was spiritually fed and edified and came back motivated to be better. It was fun to be with some of my sisters and my mom. Little sleep meant we were a little crazy at the concert. Afterwards we got our picture with the a capella group, Eclipse.
All in all, I was extremely grateful for the opportunity to go and for Parkers and my wonderful husband Tyson for taking care of Grant!

The rest of my life for the past few weeks:

Clean, wash, cook, read, play with Grant, watch movies, etc. Tyson gave me Enchanted for Mother's Day and I love love it! We finally got the Internet last Friday. (Why I haven't posted forever.) Also Tyson got a road bike to start riding to work. That's bicycle, not motorcycle for anyone who was wondering. We're trying to save on gas money! It's not too bad of a ride (11 miles each way), unless it is windy.
Don't worry, he wears a helmet, just not in this picture.
Here's Grant playing with his blocks. And here he is again. Notice all the teeth?!
Just wanted to say thanks to all who read this blog. It is a fun way to stay in contact!

Welcome back! I was wondering where you'd been. I can't believe how much little Grant looks like a toddler and less like a baby. It's fun to watch him change. Hope you are doing well! And way to go Tyson for biking all of those miles every day!

Good to hear from you again! Glad things are going well. Way to go, Tyson, for biking to work! I'm actually coming to IF at the end of next week for a little over a month. I decided to split time with both families. So I'm sure I'll see you guys, and I'm excited to meet little Grant! Drostan told me you're going to San Antonio, so I'll see you sometime after that.
